Who We AreaMoment started with elopements and a very clear point of view.
Founded in 2015, we built our reputation on intimate weddings — the kind where two people disappear into the New Zealand wilderness and come back married. Our early clients were young Chinese couples who wanted beauty without the fanfare.
Then came 2019, and a wedding that changed everything: a high-profile celebrity couple, 120 guests, a remote farm with no power, no water, and no phone reception — and a day that dominated Chinese social media for weeks.
Then came 2020. We don't need to explain what happened. What we will say is that by June of that year, we had rebuilt our entire business model, opened to the international market, and found that the thing we'd always done — holding our couples' hands through every single detail, anticipating every need before it was asked — translated perfectly.
Our styling team has become something we're quietly proud of. They work for couples who know what they want — whether that's a day that feels entirely private, or one that stops the scroll. We're equally good at both.
We are bilingual, New Zealand-based, and genuinely obsessed with what we do. So obsessed, in fact, that New Zealand is no longer enough — we now plan destination weddings in China too, for couples who want something genuinely off the map.
